Volunteer Apple Society

Empowering young people to own their economic success.

appleThank you for being a Junior Achievement classroom volunteer! This year alone, 700 local volunteers will have reached more than 27,000 students in more than 1,000 classrooms with important lessons of financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. Together, we’re making a lasting impact in our community, our state and our world.

You, our wonderful volunteers, are what make Junior Achievement so impactful on a student’s future. To show you just how vital you are to our mission, we’re introducing the brand new Junior Achievement Apple Society this Spring.

Every time you teach a classroom of students, it gets you closer to reaching specific milestones that will earn you JA Apple Awards. The categories are as follows:

Red Apple

This level is reached after a volunteer impacts 150 students or six classrooms. The volunteer will be inducted into the JA Apple Society by receiving a red apple lapel pin. All Red Apple members will be listed on the JA website.

Silver Apple
This level is reached after a volunteer impacts 300 students or 12 classrooms. JA staff will visit each Silver Apple inductee at their place of work with a special surprise. All Silver Apple members will be listed on the JA website and featured on our Facebook page.

Classroom totals have been accumulated beginning with the 2010-2011 school year. We hope you’ll help us applaud these wonderful volunteers. We also look forward to inducting even more Apple Society members next spring!
