Plus One

Empowering young people to own their economic success.

We’ve got some great news, a challenge, and some more good news for you today! You, our valued volunteers and supporters, are the backbone of Junior Achievement of Lincoln. We know that you care about Lincoln’s students, and that’s why we’re coming to you for help with an unprecedented situation that we’re navigating. In return, we want to offer you the chance to win a really great prize! Here are the details:

The Great News

More teachers than ever before (we’re talking dozens more!) want JA in their classrooms! We’ve had a HUGE response from teachers at all grade levels this year, asking for volunteers to bring the dynamic JA curriculum to their students. Of course, we don’t want to turn anyone down – we need to find a volunteer for every classroom that wants one!

The Challenge

In order to put JA in all those classrooms, we need volunteers! LOTS of volunteers! We know you know what a great experience it is being a JA classroom volunteer, and we’re asking you to share that experience with a friend or coworker as part of our new Plus One campaign. All you have to do is send an email, make a phone call, or head on over to someone’s desk and tell them that you’re a JA volunteer, and why you think they should be too. You can send them to this link for all the information they need on volunteering. You know how fun, easy, and important it is to take the JA curriculum into a classroom – so tell someone!

More Good News

If you refer a volunteer, you will both be entered into drawings for some great prizes! Most importantly, though, you’ll be making an impact in our community by helping put our young people on the path to better futures.

Personal stories are powerful, and your story can help get another volunteer into a classroom. A few minutes of your time can make a difference in the lives of the students who will receive the practical skills and relevant knowledge that will help them succeed in our changing economy. So who will your Plus One be? Please contact them today!
