Tera is the President of Junior Achievement of Lincoln. She has been with JA of Lincoln for more than 12 years. Her main responsibilities are to direct organization-wide fundraising, staff management, maintain financial strength as well as build community relationships. Tera grew up in Peru, Nebraska, graduating from Auburn High School and later, the University of Nebraska Lincoln. She received bachelor degrees in both Journalism and English. Tera and her husband Jerry have two boys and she has taught their JA classes each year since kindergarten.
Alison has been with JA of Lincoln for over three years and is responsible for leading the Programming Team. Her team will work directly with over 1,000 community volunteers and 900 educators to bring JA’s financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship programs to nearly 30,000 K-12th grade students this school year. She is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Communication. Alison teaches JA in many classrooms around Lincoln each year. She is a wish granter for Make-A-Wish Foundation, is active in the Lincoln Young Professionals Group and is a Lincoln Chamber Ambassador. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, friends, her husband and her dog, Satchmo.
Special Events Director
Reya is the Special Events Director for Junior Achievement. Her main responsibilities include planning and organizing JA’s events including the JA Auction, JA Bowl-a-thon, JA Stock Market Challenge and JA Golf Classic. She is from Columbia MO and moved to Omaha NE in middle school. She graduated from UNL with a BS in Hospitality, Restaurant and Tourism Management. Reya enjoys shoe shopping, traveling far and wide with her husband and taking care of their two cats.
Peggy is the Development Assistant at Junior Achievement of Lincoln. Her primary responsibilities include grant research and writing, coordinating classroom sponsorships and donor stewardship. Peggy attended Nebraska Wesleyan University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. After graduation she worked for several state senators in the Nebraska Legislature. Peggy returned to the workplace after spending thirteen years raising her and husband Bruce’s three boys. Along with being a JA classroom volunteer, she is an active member of the Cooper YMCA Committee of Management and a TeamMates Mentor.
Rachel is a program coordinator who works with educators and volunteers to bring JA’s financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship programs to more than 600 classrooms in Lincoln and Grand Island. She is from Waverly, Nebraska and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2017 with a degree in Economics and Supply Chain Management and Analytics. She enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends in her free time.
Bisi is a Program Coordinator with Junior Achievement. She is responsible for the coordination of programs and community volunteers in nearly 600 classrooms in both Lincoln and the Kearney area. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. In her free time Bisi enjoys spending time with her six nieces and nephews, traveling and watching and attending sporting events.
Katherine is the special events coordinator for Junior Achievement. She is from Lincoln and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December, 2016 with a degree in Textile Communications. In college Katherine was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She is also a nanny in her spare time. She enjoys reading, working out, and traveling. Katherine’s main responsibilities include assisting with fundraising events and updating social media.
Clara is in her first year at Junior Achievement of Lincoln. She is the administrative assistant whose duties vary from helping coordinate mailings to scheduling meetings and maintaining communications with board members. She is a senior at the University of Nebraska- Lincoln and will be graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In her spare time, Clara teaches ballet and movement at a local dance studio.
