It’s been a long streak of growth for Junior Achievement of Lincoln. Each year, we’re fortunate to serve more students than the year before, thanks to an ever-increasing number of volunteers and supporters. Last year alone, we served over 28,000 students! All that growth makes for a growing workload, which is a great problem to have. To that end, the JA staff has been growing and changing. We’re excited about the team we’ve built, and we want you to meet them!
Tera Norris continues her tenure as our fearless leader as President of Junior Achievement of Lincoln. She has been with JA of Lincoln for more than 12 years, and has overseen a period of record growth. She’s assisted by Education Director Alison Gottsch-Walton, who has been with JA of Lincoln for more than three years, and is responsible for leading the Programming Team. Program Coordinators Rachel Murray and Bisi Oyinlade assist Alison to work directly with over 1,000 community volunteers and 900 educators this year to bring the JA message into classrooms.
Reya Christensen is the Special Events Director, responsible for planning and organizing JA’s events including the JA Auction, JA Bowl-a-thon, JA Stock Market Challenge and JA Golf Classic. Katherine Crawford is the special events coordinator, assisting with fundraising events and updating social media.
Peggy Bohrer is our Development Assistant, researching and writing grants, and coordinating classroom sponsorships and donor stewardship.
Rounding out our JA of Lincoln team is Administrative Assistant Clara Kramer. Her duties vary from helping coordinate mailings to scheduling meetings and maintaining communications with board members.
