Since its founding three years ago, the Junior Achievement of Lincoln Young Professionals Board has made an unmistakable impact on the students of Lincoln. Last year alone, this group of 29 of Lincoln’s best and brightest recruited enough volunteers to fill 100 JA classrooms– and they’ve already set out to do it again this year with 100 more volunteers!
These board members have also been instrumental in the success of our fundraisers and special events, including the JA Tailgate Dinner & Auction, the Stock Market Challenge, and the Bowl-a-thon. In addition to these events, the Board hosts the “For the Love of JA” volunteer recruitment event in February, with the goal of introducing potential volunteers to the JA mission and experience. Last year, the event recruited enough volunteers to fill 40 classrooms!
If you’re a young professional (approx. age 25-40) who believes in the JA mission and is looking to make a difference, the Board would love to meet you! Click here to read more about our mission and get an application to join us!
We’re so grateful to the members of the 2017-2018 Junior Achievement of Lincoln Young Professionals Board!
