Young Professionals Board Making Big Impact

Growing in size, growing in influence, growing in impact– that’s our JA of Lincoln Young Professionals Board!

This year, the members of the Board gave themselves a goal of filling 100 local classrooms with young professional volunteers– and they’re well on their way! In February, the Board held a volunteer recruitment event called “For the Love of JA.” More than 70 people attended, and half signed up to teach a JA classroom this Spring! The Board is also making a big impact through their volunteer efforts at JA events. Board members were part of the success of the JA Dinner and Auction, Stock Market Challenge, and Bowl-a-thon. We’re so grateful for all their hard work and dedication to the students of Lincoln and surrounding areas. They’re the leaders of tomorrow, and that’s a very good thing indeed!

If you’re a young professional (approx. age 25-40) who believes in the JA mission and is looking to make a difference, the Board would love to meet you! Click here to read more about our mission and get an application to join us!
