Empowering young people to own their economic success.

JA Young Professionals Board Making HUGE Impact

2016-17JA of Lincoln is so fortunate to be surrounded by so many groups, companies, organizations, and individuals who just get it. They understand the importance of preparing our young people for the realities of the workplace. They know how vital it is that our students are equipped with the skills that will allow them to succeed in our ever-changing economy. They are willing to give their time and support to make those things happen.

Over the last two years, the JA Young Professionals Board has become one of our fastest-growing avenues of support, and we could not be more grateful for them. These folks are dedicated! Every member has made a financial contribution to JA, and has volunteered in at least one classroom (some may more)! The Board has expanded to 18 members, and has set a goal of recruiting 100 new volunteers for JA’s growing need in Lincoln. They will be hosting a volunteer recruitment event early next year, and they have also been vital in securing new sponsorships for all JA’s special fundraising events. Again this year, JA Board will host a YP Bowl-A-Thon event in February We are so lucky to have this group of motivated young professionals on our side! They truly represent the future success of Junior Achievement of Lincoln.
