Stand Up and Recognize Greatness

If you had an amazing JA experience this year, then we’re looking for you!

Every year, we recognize volunteers and educators who go above and beyond to make the JA curriculum come alive for students. Peak Performance Awards will be given to classroom volunteers and educators who truly embrace the JA mission, and they’ll be celebrated at the annual Junior Achievement Spirit of Achievement Luncheon held on June 28, 2016 at the Cornhusker-Marriott Hotel.

Here’s where we need you! We’re looking for nominations for individuals to receive these awards.

If you’re a teacher, your classroom volunteer is a great candidate if they:

  • Made a point to make each lesson thoroughly engaging for your students through relevant stories and creative connections between the curriculum and the business world.
  • Dedicated extra time to developing a partnership with you.
  • Showed enthusiasm for Junior Achievement programs.
  • Inspired a lasting impression beyond the curriculum.

If you’re a classroom volunteer, the teacher you were partnered with is a great candidate if they:

  • Made business and economic education a priority in the classroom through involvement in Junior Achievement programs.
  • Dedicated extra time to developing a partnership with you.
  • Extended the economic education of the students through additional activities or enhancement of JA programs.
  • Showed enthusiasm for Junior Achievement programs.

All nominations must be received at the JA office by Friday, May 6th. Thank you for helping us make sure that great work doesn’t go unrecognized!
