Teachers, we’re talking to you! If you’ve already had the Junior Achievement curriculum delivered to your students by a trained, caring career from the local business community, then you know what a unique and valuable experience it is for your students. If you’ve never experienced all the JA has to offer, then we hope you’ll accept our invitation to see what you’ve been missing!
Each year, more than 750 trained volunteers from the local business community make the Junior Achievement messages of financial literacy, money management, entrepreneurship, and business ethics come alive for nearly 23,000 K-12 students in public and parochial Lincoln-area schools. Your volunteer will come equipped with age-appropriate lesson plans, innovative curriculum, and the motivation to help your students understand how they can use their education to achieve future success. JA is provided to your classroom completely free, and the time commitment is minimal — just five 45-minute sessions on the days of your choosing.
The time to get involved is now! We’re currently accepting teacher registrations for the 2015-2016 school year. Registering early helps ensure that we can get you a volunteer for the dates and schedule that work best for you. Click here for the registration form, and make Junior Achievement part of your classroom plans for next year!
