We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again – Junior Achievement is nothing without our volunteers! That’s why we love to recognize those generous, inspirational, community-minded individuals who take time out of their busy schedules to take our curriculum into classrooms and make an impact. We want to make sure that they know how much they’re appreciated, and that their contributions make a difference in the lives of students. But we need your help!
If you’re an educator who had a great experience with your JA classroom volunteer, then we want to hear from you! From now until May 1st, we’re accepting nominations for our Peak Performance Awards. Up to three JA Peak Performance Awards will be awarded to classroom volunteers who embrace the JA mission and go above and beyond to make JA a positive experience for students. The volunteer will be recognized at the annual Junior Achievement Spirit of Achievement Luncheon.
Of course, that volunteer/teacher partnership also needs wonderful educators who are open to the JA message and invite us into their classrooms! We want to recognize those teachers who dedicate time and energy to developing a partnership with their JA classroom volunteer, and who show real enthusiasm for Junior Achievement programs! Our Educators of the Year will also be recognized at the luncheon, and nominations are also due by May 1st. If you’re a classroom volunteer who loved working with your teacher, then we hope you’ll let us know!
Again, all nominations need to be received by May 1st. Thank you for helping us recognize and appreciate the individuals who make us great!
