Empowering young people to own their economic success.

Keep JA on Your Holiday List

ThankyouMost of us will give quite a few gifts this holiday season, but how many will actually make a lasting impact on the future? When the tree has been taken down, the cookies have been polished off, and the ball has dropped in Times Square, will the gifts you give already be forgotten, or will they be making a real difference in our community?

It’s once again time to start giving some serious consideration to your end-of-year giving, and we hope you’ll consider putting Junior Achievement on your Christmas list. A donation of any size helps us bring our message of financial literacy and responsibility to the students of Southeastern Nebraska. In our ever-changing economy, the cutting-edge Junior Achievement curriculum gives students the running start they need to have the best shot at a brighter future. And when our youth succeed, so does our community – meaning the impact of your generosity lasts far into the future.

Or how about this great gift option – for $100, you (or that hard-to-buy-for friend or colleague!) can become a JA of Lincoln classroom sponsor! Your money will put a dedicated, caring volunteer in a local classroom, equipped with all the training and materials they need to give their students a truly dynamic experience. You can be as specific as you’d like – sponsor a public or parochial classroom, specify the grade level, school, or even the individual teacher that you’d like to support! You (or the recipient of your thoughtful, unique gift) will receive a personalized thank you card and photo from the students in the classroom you sponsor, letting you see your gift in action.

For more information on giving to JA of Lincoln or becoming a classroom sponsor, contact Tera Norris at or (402) 467-1217, or click here.

From all of us at JA of Lincoln, thank you for all you do to support our mission. Because of you, we’re helping our students own their economic success!
