In case you haven’t noticed, our economy isn’t quite what it used to be. Gone are the days when you took a job after college and worked there until retirement. More and more, our economy and our communities are driven by small businesses… but how will our young people learn to be competitive in a world where entrepreneurship has become so important?
Through our brand new program Driven Youth Invitational, Junior Achievement of Lincoln is stepping in to help. Over the course of 7 weeks, motivated high school students will be guided through the process of turning their passions into ideas, and their ideas into opportunities. They’ll interact with some of Lincoln’s top entrepreneurs, get a glimpse into what it really takes to start a business, and even develop their own business plans. Even before entering college, they’ll gain a practical understanding of what success looks like in the real world of business.
Do you know a student that could benefit from this opportunity? Don’t wait– tell them today! Classes start September 20th, and seats are filling up. For all the details on dates, times, and location, to learn how to sign up, or to read the complete list of guest speakers, click here.
