We’ve always known that Lincoln is a wonderfully generous community. We’re lucky to have so many entities that see the value in supporting the organizations that make our city such a vibrant place to call home. There’s no doubt that Junior Achievement is only able to do what we do every day because of the generosity of Lincoln.
May was a good month for JA of Lincoln, and we just couldn’t let it go by without expressing our gratitude to two especially wonderful organizations.
Thanks in large part to more than a year’s work by Nick Cusick and Monsignor Perkinton, the Dillon Foundation awarded JA of Lincoln a $10,000 grant that will make sure the JA curriculum stays in Lincoln’s Catholic school classrooms. Thank you Dillon Foundation for helping to keep our partnership with Lincoln’s parochial schools strong!
Also in May, JA of Lincoln was fortunate to be one of 14 local non-profits to share in more than $285,000 in grant money from the Lincoln Community Foundation. JA received $10,000 that will fund materials for several high-need elementary schools in Lincoln. Thank you to the Lincoln Community Foundation for making sure the JA message will reach the students who need it most!
We just can’t say it often enough– thank you Lincoln for standing with JA to give our students the tools for a successful future!
